Founded as a college project on a shoestring budget in 2006, Wine Punts has grown into a premier maker of custom glassware. Using their proprietary process, they repurpose everyday wine bottles into custom drinking glasses, carafes, canisters, candles, and a host of other glassware products. They are dedicated to improving the environment by recycling tens of thousands of wine and other bottles each year that would otherwise overflow our landfills. Every Wine Punt product is handmade to exacting specifications and is individually inspected to maintain a high standard of quality control.

Artist Process
Located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the vast majority of the bottles utilized in making glassware are locally sourced. They strive to utilize as much of each bottle as possible in their product line to continue improving the environment through responsible waste recycling programs.
Over a million bottles have been saved from reaching the landfill because of their passion for repurposing. Every bottle has a unique story – and we can’t possibly tell them all – but what we can tell is how every single drinking glass and carafe within the hotel has been saved from ending up in a landfill. Each bottle is then hand cut, fired, and polished for a smooth finish, creating a one of a kind drinking experience. Believing that steady work can help someone get out of poverty, Wine Punts also partners with a local homeless shelter to hire, train and employ individuals, teaching job skills and changing lives.
