As a young girl, Tara, founder of, Flowers of the Press, grew up at the base of Utah’s mountains, running around forests and gardens looking for flowers to press in-between books. Years later, just after graduating from University with a degree in Outdoor Product Design, she has her own flower press company focusing on wildflowers and wedding bouquets.

Artist Process
Eager to bring in the essence of a Colorado Summer into the heart of Populus, gathering wildflowers and pressing them for longevity seemed like the prefect way to bring this vision to life.
Tara and her team focussed on flowers native to Colorado that are also found in neighboring states so they had access to a longer season to forage them. They gathered these flowers on private and public land. Some of the flowers chosen for Populus include wild pea, lupine and larkspur, and milkweed a critical plant for the lifecycle of monarch butterflies.
They treaded lightly and were incredibly mindful of where and how they picked the flowers: on public land never picking more than allowed and never pulling by the root.
I hold sustainability close to my heart and strive to make Flowers Of The Press as green as can be. Our designs showcase the airy, wild, and beautiful flowers Mother Nature has given us! We believe that flowers can hold onto memories, so we're here to help you hold onto your flowers forever. Tara Zarbock
